I was inspired to sculpt this wolf by my deep passion to correct the mistaken reputation of the species. I painted the wolf colorful on one side, representing its importance to nature and its beauty, and its other side resembles the natural appearance of the wolf that is often mistaken by humans as dangerous and ruthless. With this art piece, I want others to understand that wolves are not the man-eating beasts that folklore portrays them to be. They are beautiful creatures designed to keep their entire ecosystem in balance, and without them, nature would be a more desolate place.
